7×7, for 49days, she had been just a baby girl.
七・七　四十九日の間だけ、彼女は人間の赤子でした

Ｏnce, she died, and was reborn in another world and lived for only 7 days
一度、神に召され、七日間だけ異界に生まれかわりました

After that, a white dragon brought her back, as a cat
そのあと、白い龍に連れられて、ふたたび地上に還ってきました、今度は一匹の猫として

Ｓhe meowed with a small voice over and over again, in front of mam's room.
彼女はママの部屋の前で、何度か、ちいさな声で鳴いてみました

Ｉn that room, mama also was weeping bitterly.
部屋の中では、ママもまた、ひどく泣き続けていました

Ｏn an empty stomach, the cat's bowels sounded.
あまりにお腹がすいているので、猫の胃袋はグウと音を立てて鳴りました

Ｍama, opened the door quietly, looked at her with a wonder.
ママはしずかに扉を開き、不思議そうな顔で彼女のことを見ました

Ｔhen, mama gave her a lot of milk on one plate.
それからママは、お皿にいっぱいのミルクを彼女に与えました

Ｆor the cat, the drink was just a mother's milk.
猫にとってその飲み物は、まさにお母さんのお乳でした

Ｏne of these days , mama called her "Coo", and, she spent 19 years together with mama.
そのうちにママは彼女の事を「クー」と呼ぶようになり、そののち彼女は１９年間をママと一緒に過ごしました

For the first 10 years, mama was a very skinny, smoked heavily, and, sometimes was weepinng like an early autumn shower.
最初の十年間、ママはとても痩せていて、煙草ばかりたくさん吸って、時折、秋の時雨のように泣いていました

In the 11th year, for the first time, mama began to grow indigo plant at her porch.
十一年目、ママはベランダに初めて藍を植えました

Here comes the 13th verse of this sonnet, a winter is already coming near by.
ソネットももう十三行目です、すでに冬はすぐそこに近づいています

Ｍama, smiled a little ,and all the time, was stroking white hairs of Coo's back , softly annd gently .
ママは少し微笑んで、そしてクーの背中の白い毛を、いつまでもずっと、優しく優しく撫でてくれました
